Clay Classes in town
As I may have mentioned, I enjoy sketching.
But I also like to show how sketches communicate ideas which can turn into tangible objects. By day I work on product development.
But with the kids, clay seems to be an ideal medium. It is easy to work with and shape. No power tools needed.
It is something the kids can do all by themselves, or with as much input as you like.
They learn to create emotional objects. Creating value through the expression of their own creativity. Not following a project plan. Accidents happen in this process and you learn intuition and improvisation. Problem solving can come later.
I believe they need to learn that they can create all on their own.
